How to Improve Your Vocabulary

Have you ever been on a conversation which was extremely important to you, but could not express yourself or say something that no one could understand? Well that is because you have not been practicing or learning new words. If you want to be able to be a part of something important, you need to be able to express yourself without problems.
First of all, you need to start reading. You can start with a newspaper or magazines every day. They will help you to get used to reading. First, star with a small text and then go for a longer text. In fact, you could start by reading a loud and practicing your pronunciation. Challenge you to read a book every week and you are going to see how you going to learn new words and use it as part of your vocabulary.
Second of all, writing is going to help you to increase your vocabulary. Writing helps others to understand what you want to say. If you do not have the rights words, you will not be able to communicate well. Writing is practicing your vocabulary.
These are my steps of how to increase your vocabulary. To be consistent on something that you really want to do follow these steps. You will see your vocabulary improvement and will increase your used of new and interesting words.

  2. yes, I agree with you that reading and writing is two ways really help you to improve your English skills. Not only just read, writing and speaking too. Reading help you to know more new word, and writing is the way to practice them, to remember them.
